The B&R X20CP1686X PLC was chosen for its precise control of operations, thanks to its digital and analogue input/output modules. The B&R X20SL8100 safety PLC integrates safety input/output modules to protect personnel and equipment throughout the production process. The Acopos with integrated Safemotion and B&R motors were selected to handle the movements of robots and equipment with extreme precision and fluidity. This advanced hardware configuration ensures not only greater reliability but also consistency in the quality of the operations.
Mapp Functions
B&R’s Mapp functions were crucial in optimising the performance of the robotic cell. Here is an overview of the implemented functions:
